It is clearly not possible to do that during the winter (rain and snow) or in school holidays. It was vey magical for them and their faces were a picture :-) I do appreciate that people say the park is looking tired, however, during the term time when we visit, we always see people maintaining the gardens, adding new features and numerous painters sprucing the place up. The new 'Wind in the Willows' ride was spectacular, the children had been on it before it was re-vamped and they thought it was a totally new ride.
There were a few ride closures and the splash park is not yet open, but this was clearly stated at the entrance gate on the notice boards. The flowers throughout the park are lovely. The entrance path is always so nicely decorated to the time of year (Easter eggs and bunnies) and looks beautiful with all of the spring flowers. We visited three times during the Easter break, each day the park was buzzing with Easter excitement. People wait for someone to die to say, “Oh, he was a legend.” But I’m telling Benito now: You are one of the greatest artists in Latin music history.We are lucky enough to live close by, so have season tickets which we use on a weekly basis. Now he’s at his peak, taking Latin culture to another level. That freedom connects with people pretty hard. He’s an advocate for self-expression: If you want to go and wear a miniskirt, just go ahead and do it. If everybody’s going to the right, he’s going to the left.
